HELP & ANSWERS

A question before
you send?

Straight answers on prices, shipping, timing and grading results.

Do you grade the coins yourselves?

PCGS or NGC examines your coins and decides the result. We help you choose a service, fill out the forms, arrange shipping and keep you updated. Eligible coins are sealed in protective holders.

Do I need a PCGS or NGC membership?

You don’t need to buy a separate membership to submit through SimpleGrade. We arrange the submission for you.

How much does it cost?

Your first coin is $199. Each additional coin in the same submission is $99. Grading, paperwork, handling, insured shipping both ways and support are included. One coin is $199; five coins are $595. No separate service or shipping fees.

How long does grading take?

Timing depends on the grader, service and current workload. We confirm the grader’s latest estimate with your final quote. Shipping and intake add time, and return dates are not guaranteed.

What if my coin isn’t worth grading?

We’ll help you weigh the submission cost against the likely benefit. Grading may still matter to you for a sentimental coin, but it does not guarantee a higher sale price.

Are my coins insured?

Your price includes insured shipping both ways. We confirm the covered value and packing requirements before you send. Follow the supplied instructions and keep your carrier receipt.

Can you guarantee a particular grade?

No. The grader must examine the physical coin. Cleaning, damage or authenticity concerns can mean a Details grade, which records a condition problem, or a return without a grade. Grading fees may still apply.

Should I clean my coins first?

No. Leave them as they are. Cleaning or polishing can permanently alter the surface and affect the grading result.

Can I send more than one coin?

Yes. The online calculator estimates costs for up to 10 coins. The first coin is $199, then each additional coin in the same submission is $99.
